The Austrian assisted Vecino’s equaliser as Inter triumphed over Verona

MILAN -  Having turned in another convincing performance consisting of attacking contributions throughout the game and the assist for Vecino equaliser, Valentino Lazaro discussed the victory with Inter TV: "It wasn’t easy out there today, we were up against a team who defended well. We played well and patiently, I’m really pleased with the win. The Coach told me to stay wide and to try and cross for the forwards. I’m pleased that I managed to do that today but the three points are the most important thing, because it wasn’t easy today. After they scored the opener Verona sat deep and defended. I’m happy to be here and able to improve: I’m an attacking player and I need to improve defensively even though I like to create opportunities like I did today."
