The Inter Under-19s won away at Chievo thanks to a Mulattieri goal

SOMMACAMPAGNA - At the Comunale in Sommacampagna, the Inter Under-19s won 1-0 against Chievo thanks to a Mulattieri goal. It was a very important win for the Nerazzurri who will next be in action on Wednesday against Bologna (14:30 CET at the SYDC) in the rearranged Primavera 1 TIM matchday six fixture.

After the sides started the match slowly by studying one another, Tuzzo had a chance for Chievo but Stankovic came off his line to make the save and keep it goalless. In the 23rd minute, the first opportunity for the Nerazzurri broke the deadlock. Fonseca stretched the play with a great ball for Colombini who fed it to Schirò, the captain crossed for Mulattieri who headed in, beating Caprile at the far post. It was the third goal of the season for the Inter no.9. 30 minutes in, Persyn had a great chance to double the lead with a powerful effort but Caprile saved and it was 0-1 at half-time.

The second half began with a great chance for the Nerazzurri. Mulatttieri had a one-on-one with the goalkeeper but hit it wide. A minute after, Fonseca missed a glorious chance after being set up perfectly by Colombini. Ten minutes from time, Chievo and then Inter missed opportunities. Karamoko headed over while Fonseca saw his effort saved by Caprile. At the final whistle, it was 0-1 as Inter took a narrow but deserved win, returning to winning ways in the league.
