Armando Madonna's team overcame their rossoblu counterparts thanks to goals from Vecino, Sangalli and Casadei

SESTO SAN GIOVANNI - In the 4th matchday of the Primavera 1 TIM championship, Inter U19 beat Genoa 3-1. Mattia Sangalli and Cesare Casadei got on the scoresheet for the Nerazzurri, as well as Matias Vecino who played for seventy minutes.

Matias Vecino, deployed in the starting eleven by Coach Armando Madonna, unlocked the game in the 7th minute: the 1991-born midfielder met the ball in the penalty area and sent a diagonal shot to the far post where Agostino could not reach. Inter controlled the game and after 15 minutes they also gained a numerical advantage: Gjini's inexperience led him to bring down Oristanio and as the last man the consequence was a direct sending off. Genoa, despite being a man down, did not stop attacking but at the end of the first half conceded the second goal: great combination play between Satriano and Vecino set the ball up to be finished by Mattia Sangalli. The first half ended 2-0 to the Inter U19s.

Inter controlled the rhythm of the game in the second half and did not take any risks defensively. Oristanio and Carboni were the most dangerous going forward, but it was Casadei who scored the goal that close out the game. The midfielder wearing number 18 slotted away Carboni's perfect cross from the left. In the last few minutes an unfortunate own goal was conceded by Kinkoue, sealing the final result of 3-1. After the draw against Torino, Inter U19s swept past Genoa and immediately returned to winning ways.
