The Nerazzurri beat the current league leaders thanks to a goal from Satriano

SESTO SAN GIOVANNI – On matchday 9 in the Primavera 1 TIM division, Armando Madonna’s Inter beat Roma 1-0 thanks to a goal from Martin Satriano. The Nerazzurri produced a really solid performance as they got the better of the current table-toppers to move up to 14 points in the league.

The first half was a lively affair at the Stadio Breda in Sesto San Giovanni, with both sides looking to pass the ball around and put dangerous moves together. Zalewski was looking particularly threatening for Roma, but it was the Nerazzurri who came closest to taking the lead as Satriano hit the post in the 28th minute. With the half coming to an end, Inter pushed forward in numbers and were able to make their way into the Giallorossi box on numerous occasions, but the final clinical touch was missing.

After the restart, Madonna’s men broke the deadlock with 57 minutes on the clock: Satriano latched onto Oristanio’s through ball and, after entering the area, beat Boer with a right-footed strike. Roma then went on the attack, but the Nerazzurri remained solid at the back as they looked to hit their opponents on the counter. No more goals were scored, with Inter running out 1-0 winners.
