Pioli and Icardi meet Nerazzurri fans

were the special guests for the evening, receiving a very warm welcome from all the Nerazzurri fans in attendance. There were lots of photo opportunities and younger members had the chance to meet their hero. The fans were also able to ask Pioli and Icardi some questions, getting an insight into what makes them tick: "My childhood hero was Gabriel Batistuta," revealed Icardi. "I don't know if I'm world class but it takes so much hard work to reach that level."

"I'm very proud and honoured to captain this side after Zanetti. I love this club and being captain is the icing on the cake," he continued.

Stefano Pioli made his first public appearance with Inter Club: "You fans are so enthusiastic. I love celebrating goals: they all count for a lot but the one that really sticks in my mind was the last-minute strike in the derby. I hope that the best is yet to come for me as a coach."

It wasn't only a gala dinner but also an evening of full immersion on all things Inter. Besides exploring the dressing rooms and the Inter dugout, Inter Club members also enjoyed the Icardi Room Experience. The interactive exhibition featured videos, along with signed shirts and captain's armbands, allowing members to get involved in celebrating the Nerazzurri striker's goals.

It all made for a once-in-a-lifetime experience to tell their friends about, an exclusive evening for the members who got closer to the action.
