The Belgian midfielder spoke to Inter TV for his first interview as a Nerazzurri player: "I am pleased to be back working with Spalletti"

MILAN - Speaking to Inter TV about his recent transfer, here are RadjaNainggolan’s first few words as an Inter player: “I did not expect such a warm welcome. I am happy. It will now be down to me to earn yet more applause.

“Affection from the fans is important for any player and it means that they’re enthusiastic, just like I am. I hope that we can now enjoy more happy times together. Spalletti? My best season was with him and I now hope that I can do just as well. I am at the Coach’s disposal and I am pleased to be back working with him. Why I chose Inter? Confidence is key and I received calls from Director Ausilio, the Coach and Zanetti. They all made me feel important and my decision was simple. I am ready to go ahead of this new adventure.

"A message for the fans? I still don’t know them too well but seeing how they welcomed me here, I hope that they can continue to support the squad in the same manner. We can do well in the league and also in the Champions League. Inter have an important history behind them and they must now return to playing their part in Europe.”
