There have been 33 previous meetings between Inter and Chievo in Serie A. The Nerazzurri have won 20 and lost five in addition to eight draws. Inter have kept a clean sheet in 15 of 33 matches against Chievo in Serie A (46 per cent), including in three of the last four matches at the Meazza. After losing the first home Serie A match against Chievo in December 2001, Inter have gone 15 unbeaten with eleven wins and four draws.
On one hand, no side has conceded fewer than Inter in the first half of games this season (nine, level with Milan) and on the other, Chievo are the side who have scored the fewest (nine) in the opening 45 minutes of games. Chievo have been Ivan Perisic's favourite team to play against in Serie A (six goals in six matches), including his only hat-trick in the competition which came in December 2017 at the Meazza. Mauro Icardi has scored five goals from his last seven Serie A appearances against Chievo.
Antonio Candreva has scored four Serie A goals against Chievo, including his last brace in the tournament in January 2016. Only against Inter has he scored more (five) in the top flight.
Keita made his Serie A debut against Chievo in September and he's played a role in four goals from his seven appearances against them (two goals and two assists).
Andrea Ranocchia's first goal in Serie A was scored against Chievo in October 2009 for Bari. His tally of three goals against them is the highest out of any opponent.
Samir Handanovic is the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets (16) this season. The Slovenian only kept more in the 2017-18 and 2011-12 seasons when he went unbeaten 17 times.
