The 17-year-old played 71 minutes as captain against Serbia. Pirola also started before going off at the break.


ROME - The Italy Under-18s coached by Carmine Nunziata enjoyed a positive runout in their friendly against Serbia, winning the match 2-0. 

Sebastiano Esposito was one of the key players as he captained Italy before scoring the second goal. Lorenzo Pirola also started in the heart of defence before coming off at the break.  

Other Nerzzurri players who were involved included: Lorenzo Moretti (45'), Gaetano Pio Oristanio (19') and Niccolò Squizzato (45').
