Today the birth of Inter Academy Turkey has been made official

MILAN – The expansion of Inter Academy continues worldwide: Inter Academy Turkey begins today in collaboration with the partner 3H Spor Okullari, a company beloning to the Turkish group Altun Logistics.

The Inter Academy project in Turkey is an important step in the development of training young local players and coaches. Thanks to Inter Academy, Turkish children and teenagers have the opportunity to grow and train by following Inter’s high technical and ethical standards whilst remaining in their own country, a natural environment in which they can develop themselves from both a football and human point of view.

The birth of this new partnership represents an important step in the process of expanding the Inter Academy project worldwide. Inter has always been very attentive to training young players, both from a technical and human point of view, and we’re happy that, thanks to 3H Spor Okullari’s support, Turkish children will also now have the opportunity to train with Inter’s coaching standards without having to leave their homeland”, said Alessandro Antonello, FC Internazionale Milano’s Corporate CEO.

With the opening of Inter Academy Turkey, we want to share our passion for the sport and team sport. We care about the growth and education of children and thanks to this project, in collaboration with a global brand like Inter, we can to contribute to the development of football in Turkey in a professional and efficient manner,” said Hüseyin Gökten and Hüseyin Altun, both Managing Partners of 3H Sport Okullari, who have believed in Inter Academy’s project even at this time of international emergency.

The Nerazzurri project in Turkey involves 400 children and young people between 6 and 17 years of age. Its head office is in Mersin, with a future aim to expand throughout Turkey.

The partner is in constant contact with the Turkish authorities to assess the start of activity, which is still planned for early July.

The Inter Academy team will initially follow the project from Italy, maintaining constant contact with the partner, as well as organising Webinars for the training of local coaches and young players.

This project in Turkey further expands Inter Academy’s boundaries, which today has 21 permanent projects, more than 20,000 children and more than 400 coaches involved worldwide.
