All of the key facts and figures from Saturday's 4-0 win

MILAN - The Nerazzurri’s 4-0 win over Benevento was made even sweeter on Saturday by the fact that the away side failed to register a single shot. A defensive achievement alongside Inter’s flair for goals returning after our previous 0-0 draw against Udinese. This latest win was Inter’s seventh successive victory at home in Serie A, a streak that hasn’t been achieved since December 2018.

NO SHOTS ON GOAL: 2018 ALL OVER AGAIN

For the first time ever on Saturday, Benevento failed to register a single shot in a Serie A match. The last time Inter finished a league match without conceding any attempts on goal was back in April 2018, then beating Cagliari 4-0 at San Siro.

This is now Inter’s third match without conceding in Serie A, with Handanovic’s unbeaten streak extending to 274 minutes.

Furthermore, two of Inter’s three quickest goals have been scored against Benevento this season, including Improta’s own goal (6’14”) and Lukaku’s 28th-minute strike during the first match.

49 GOALS: THE LEAGUE’S MOST PROLIFIC ATTACK

The Nerazzurri’s four goals on Saturday moved their season tally up to 49 in the league, meaning they boast the best attack in Serie A. However, not only this, but only Bayern Munich have scored more across Europe’s top five leagues (57).

LAUTARO SEES DOUBLE

El Toro hit his 10th league goal on Saturday, with 11 in all competitions. This means Inter are now the only Serie A team to have two players to have scored more 10 goals or more this season: Lautaro (10) and Lukaku (14).

Lautaro, aged 23, is the youngest to have reached this milestone in Serie A, and is the fourth youngest to do so across Europe’s top five leagues, behind Haaland, Wamangituka and Mbappé.

Meanwhile, looking specifically at Inter, Lautaro became the third youngest foreigner to reach 30 league goals for the Nerazzurri, behind only Icardi and Ronaldo (both aged 22).

LUKAKU REACHES 150

After scoring with both feet against Benevento, Lukaku strengthened his season tally to 20 goals from 26 appearances in all competitions, with 14 in the league. In total, the 27-year-old Belgian now has 150 goals in 307 appearances across Europe’s top five leagues. This season he has also scored 10 goals at San Siro already, while last year he only managed eight throughout.
