Satriano's 92nd-minute header wins it for the U19s

SANT'EGIDIO ALLA VIBRATA - Armando Madonna’s U19s left it late as Satriano scored the winning header in the 92nd minute against Ascoli. Inter took the lead through Lindkvist on the half-hour mark before Lisi equalised with ten minutes to go before Martín scored to give three important points to the Nerazzurri.

The hosts started well and threatened a few times through Stankovic. Inter, however, were extremely clinical and took the lead with their first clear chance; on the half-hour mark, Lindkvist won the loose ball close to the penalty area and slotted a left-footed effort into the bottom corner. The Swede’s first league goal of the season. The goal filled the Nerazzurri with confidence and they dominated possession of the football in the final fifteen minutes of the first half.

All of the second-half action occurred in the final ten minutes. After 80 minutes had passed, Lisi turned it home from D’Agostino’s brilliant assist. When the game seemed done and dusted, Martín Satriano stepped up. The Uruguayan’s glancing header from Oristanio’s free-kick nestled into the back of the net to give the Nerazzurri three precious points. Inter move to 33 points, just one behind leaders Roma and Sampdoria.
