Achraf Hakimi also took to the pitch on Saturday as Morocco played Burkina Faso in a friendly. The Nerazzurri wing-back decided matters with a free kick (it finished 1-0 to the Moroccans) and also provided a dedication to Eriksen.
On Sunday, Brozovic and Perisic’s Croatia fell to a 1-0 defeat to England at Wembley. Brozovic came off after 70 minutes, while Perisic completed the full 90.
A Netherlands team with Stefan de Vrij in their ranks ran out 3-2 winners against Ukraine in Amsterdam to join Austria on three points in Group C.
