The former Germany striker, who won a UEFA Cup and an Italian Super Cup with Inter, turns 57 today.

MILAN - After arriving in the summer of 1989 from Stuttgart, Jurgen Klinsmann was one of Inter’s star players in the early 90s. Alongside Lothar Matthaus and Andy Brehme, he was part of a legendary trio for the Nerazzuri and together they won the World Cup with Germany in 1990.

In the three seasons he represented Inter, he scored 40 times in 123 games across all competitions, playing a leading role in winning the first Italian Super Cup (1990) and the first UEFA Cup (1990/91) in the club's history.

On behalf of FC Internazionale Milano and all our supporters, we’d like to send Jurgen our best wishes.
