Skriniar back among the goals: “We had the right attitude”

MILAN – After producing one of his best displays for the club against Real Madrid, Milan Skriniar added to the goal that he scored on the opening day by heading home in the convincing win over Bologna. The defender, who continues to perform well at both ends of the pitch, had this to say to Inter TV after a big victory.

“I’m pleased with my goal, but above all, with the team’s performance. We did well from the start and we extinguished their hopes early on. We went into the game off the back of two negative results and it was important to win. You could see our attitude from the first minute.

“As for Real, I don’t know if it was my best performance. I felt good, but unfortunately, we lost. It was important to get back to winning ways today. I always try to help my team-mates. I don’t know if that means being a leader, but I do my best.”
