Candreva: "We're working day after day to improve"

SINGAPORE – Antonio Candreva also commented on the Nerazzurri’s International Champions Cup opener when interviewed by Inter TV at the National Stadium in Singapore: "There’s always something we can improve on, we’re here to do just this. We’ve only got a few days of preparation in our legs. These have been tough days because we’ve worked hard and well, but we need to get used to digging in."

As regards the result and the team’s performance: "We also had opportunities and could have done more if we’d shown a bit more composure. Nevertheless, we’re confident. We got slightly stretched due to fatigue setting in and they’re slightly ahead in that regard, but we did well. Now, we’ll study the things we need to improve and correct. We need to work and focus on ourselves in doing so in order to be ready when the league season arrives. Changes in formation can happen, this is how the Coach works. We’ve taken steps forward."
