Bonny: "It's a dream come true for me"

Ange-Yoan Bonny appeared excited and enthusiastic for his first interview since joining the Club. The French forward, who was born in 2003, discussed this move in an exclusive interview with Inter TV:

Welcome to Inter. What's it like to be joining a Club of this magnitude? How do you feel on your first day? "It's an emotional experience. I'm really happy to be here. It's a dream come true for me, and I still can't quite believe it. I'm happy and can't wait to get going."

This will be your second season in Serie A. What are you expecting? "I'm hungry and have a lot of desire to improve on last season so that I can keep developing. I want to learn from these great players that I'll have around me every day."

At Inter, you will be reuniting with Cristian Chivu, with whom you spent the last few months of last season. What's your relationship with him like, and how happy are you to be a part of such an ambitious environment? "Chivu gave me a lot in my last three months at Parma. He's a great person who has helped me and shown faith in me. I'm happy to be playing under him again and to continue our development together."

What kind of striker are you? What are your main characteristics? "I can play all over the pitch, so I'm a modern forward. I like to have the ball and link up play with my teammates. I do like to score, but I also like to assist."

You will play with some top players, such as Lautaro and Thuram. What expectations do you have, and what do you think you can bring to the team? "I'll watch them every day in training, like I'm a kid. I will try to learn all that I can from them; they're top-level footballers. It's a great opportunity for me to be with them, I can't wait."

You're Inter's 26th French player. Is there a compatriot of yours who has played for this Club, whom you particularly admire? "Definitely Thuram, but also Djorkaeff, Laurent Blanc and Patrick Vieira. They were great players for Inter, which is a huge Club. I hope to follow in their footsteps."
