Inter and Fiorentina have faced off twice in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals in the past, in 1960 and in 1967 with one win for either side. The last three Coppa Italia clashes between the two have seen just three goals scored, the Viola winning 1-0 in 1996 and the Nerazzurri with two 1-0 wins in 2010.

A debut brace for Lukaku
