MILAN – After the meeting with Marco Materazzi, which took place on the eve of Inter’s last home match, the "Inter Calling Club" format, reserved exclusively for Inter Club subscribers, has returned ahead of our next home clash against Torino.
With fans once again taking centre stage in the second edition of "Inter Calling Club", Fabio Galante met Inter fans from five of the largest branches of Inter Club outside Italy – Albania, Cadenazzo, Malta, Malta 'Pupi Zanetti' and Pforzheim – whose representatives were able to interact with the former Nerazzurri defender, discussing topics ranging from memories and anecdotes from Galante's time at Inter, his former teammates, including, among others, Ronaldo, and Inter’s prospects today.
The online meeting with another Nerazzurri legend is one of many activities getting subscribers involved: many have already taken part in the first virtual Inter Clubs World Conference and in Inter TV’s pre-match programme through videos made to inspire the team. This follows on from a record-breaking recruitment campaign for the second year running. The Inter Clubs outside Italy have made a decisive impact: they now boast a combined total of over 25,000 subscribers, with a growth of more than 70% in the last three years and of 130% in the last five years. There are branches in 75 countries around the world in all five continents.
Below: a short excerpt from the meeting, yet another event that is testament to the continued close relationship between the Club and its subscribers, who will together celebrate 60 years of Inter Clubs with a subscription campaign that will begin in the opening weeks of August.
