There are four candidates…
Dzeko | His headed goal gave us the lead against Fiorentina and was his fourth goal in five Serie A appearances so far this season. It was an impressive performance from the Bosnian, not just in front of goal but also because of his support play for his team-mates.
Handanovic | The Slovenian kept Inter in the game in the first half with two brilliant saves: the fine piece of goalkeeping to deny Gonzalez in the six-yard box and the diving save to keep out Vlahovic’s effort. Stayed focused throughout and made the stop against Biraghi.
Brozovic | Passing, running, creativity. The Croatian helped the team to pull through a difficult period and produced some fantastic moments, such as the pass for Vecino in the build-up to Inter’s third goal.
Perisic I His driving runs provided the impetus the team needed to go out and get all three points. And his goal was the icing on the cake of a performance oozing with character.
