Our midfielder spoke to Sky Sports following yesterday's 1-0 victory against Udinese

APPIANO GENTILE – Find out what Stefano Sensi had to say to Sky Sports the day after his goal saw Inter secure a crucial victory against Udinese.

“We have a great team, we are all on the same wavelength. I have worked hard but I did not expect to make such a good start to the season. I am focused on my work and am on the way to being where I want to be – I want to continue in the same way. There have been some mistakes in previous years, it is not always easy playing at the San Siro, but I simply try to give my all every time to improve and to learn as a player. You can only do this by working hard every week out on the pitch.”

“I am a professional and I am only thinking about football. I rest when I need to, and I eat well. These are fundamental things to be in a good state of mind. The coach is one of the best in the world and you need quality to work with him. Just seeing him on the bench raises the intensity.”

“I am the kind of person who settles into a team easily, I get along well with everyone and like having fun with my teammates.”

“The manager was a great player and that is exciting; it is nice to be able to follow his lead.”

“We need to pick up as many points as we possibly can, and not think about sending a message to anyone. It will a great spectacle playing at the Camp Nou in the Champions League, for example. But we have to focus on the games that come before then, and ensure we perform in the right way.”

“We have Slavia Prague next and we need to focus on them because it is a European competition – we will think about Milan afterwards. The Champions League is always the same – we face the strongest teams in Europe and we must be careful as all the teams will make it difficult for us.”

“I have stayed on good terms with everyone, even those in Sassuolo. Many have written to me to say hello and compliment me, as I do them.”

“I will be happy if the seasons ends as it started! There are no limits if we continue to always improve and keep the same level of intensity throughout the entire season. We will think about winning, one game at a time though. Because we have an obligation to give our all right until the very end.”
