The Belgian striker bagged a brace in Inter's win against Sassuolo

REGGIO EMILIA – Two goals, one of which was a proper striker’s goal in the box and one from the penalty spot. Romelu Lukaku put in a fantastic and warrior-like performance as he made his mark in the Nerazzurri’s win away to Sassuolo. He’s now scored five goals this Serie A TIM season.

After the match, he spoke to DAZN: “In the first half, we did everything well. However, we should have scored in the first 15 minutes after the restart to really kill off the match. But we didn’t defend well and let them back into a game that was practically over. Nevertheless, we’re happy with the win.

I’m feeling good but need to work even harder to help out the team for the entirety of matches. I’m happy today because the victory was important for the group. Now, I’ll only think about improving still further.”
