TURIN – Federico Dimarco played for the first time this season as Inter ran out 3-0 winners away to Torino. It wasn’t his Club debut, however, with the wideman previously having made two appearances during the 2014-15 season, when he played against Empoli in Serie A and against Qarabag in the Europa League. After the match, Dimarco, who came through the Nerazzurri’s youth ranks, spoke to Inter TV: “I’m feeling doubly happy this evening: we won and I played for the first time this season. Winning away to Torino is never easy, these are three very important points.
“Taking to the pitch is something which is really important for me. I hadn’t played for a while and I’d like to thank my teammates, who have always helped me. I’m happy, we need to continue playing in this way. Only by doing this can we fight for the Scudetto. The Coach makes his choices based on the game we’re playing, I always need to make sure I’m ready.”
