An action-packed match at the Stadio Tre Fontane: Inter come from behind to rescue a late point

ROMA – On matchday 22 of the Primavera 1 TIM division, Inter played out a thrilling 3-3 draw against Roma. The Giallorossi took a two-goal lead through Riccardi and Bianda before the Nerazzurri hit back thanks to Mulattieri’s finish and Parodi’s own goal. Bove then restored the home side’s advantage, but Inter didn’t give up: Agoume’s brilliant late strike rescued a point for Armando Madonna’s side.

Roma struck the first blow early on in the match: D’Orazio escaped down the left wing and sent the ball into the box, where Riccardi was waiting to fire past Stankovic in the sixth minute. There were few other opportunities for the rest of the half, with the Inter controlling possession but unable to really cause the Roma defence any problems.

After the restart, Inter came inches away from levelling matters as Satriano’s effort flew just wide. Roma then went up the other end as Bianda capitalised on a mix-up between Stankovic and Pirola at the back. A few minutes later, Mulattieri’s shot across the goalkeeper was just off target, but the same player then finished off Gianelli’s assist in the 57th minute to get Inter back into it. The Nerazzurri then equalised with 61 minutes on the clock as Gianelli’s pressure led to Parodi scoring past his own goalkeeper. However, Roma responded immediately through Bove. Madonna’s side then poured forward in search of a leveller, and this deservedly arrived two minutes from time as Agoume found the net with a brilliant strike from outside the area.
