Facts and figures from the win in Parma.

Inter’s 2-1 win over Parma sees them secure three precious points and reflects some of the characteristics that Antonio Conte’s men have demonstrated throughout the season: namely, scoring headers, winning away from home and defenders getting themselves on the scoresheet. In collaboration with Opta, here are the facts and figures from the game. The Nerazzurri are strong away from home: no team in Serie A has taken as many points away from home as Inter – 32. This is particularly important when combined with the Nerazzurri’s ability to take points after coming from behind: 14, a figure bettered only by Atalanta (22), Lazio (19) and Bologna (15). As far as comebacks are concerned, Inter overturned the one-goal deficit in the Stadio Ennio Tardini in the space of just four minutes (83’-87’). It’s the first time that Inter have come from behind to win after the 80th minute since April 2011 – against Cesena. That day it was Giampaolo Pazzini, who bagged a late brace within the 92nd and 96th minutes. Two headed goals give Inter the win, both scored by defenders. Inter have scored 13 headed goals in the current Serie A campaign, at least two more than any other top-flight side. Furthermore, the last time two defenders scored in the same match for Inter was back in February 2018, as goals from Skriniar and Ranocchia saw the Nerazzurri beat Benevento.Speaking of defenders, Bastoni scored his second goal for Inter: both were via headers, both away from home (the first in Lecce), and both as a substitute. Stefan de Vrij is slightly more prolific. The Dutchman has scored three times in the current campaign and has also provided three assists.
