Lautaro Martinez also finds himself on the podium in this regard for his after 1:04 minutes against Sassuolo. Handanovic and his teammates also made their mark in terms of their style of play; the ended the Serie A season as the team with the most goals in the first 15 minutes of matches (10).

Moving on from the offence, the Nerazzurri also had a brilliant season at the back. With only 36 goals conceded, Inter were the best out-and-out defensive side in the competition. This is further supported by the 14 clean sheets (4 consecutively at the end of the season) kept by the team. Stefan de Vrij, who was named in Opta’s Team of the Season, was the only defender in the 2019/20 season in the Italian top flight to bag at least three goals and three assists (4 and 3 respectively).
