Sottini, Satriano and Fonseca: the Nerazzurri beat the Neroverdi in a match full of goals. Inter are currently at the top of the table

SESTO SAN GIOVANNI - At the Breda Stadium, Inter beat Sassuolo 3-2 in a match full of goals and excitement. The visitors went ahead with a goal from Mattioli, but Sottini and Satriano turned things around for Inter before the end of the first half. The second half saw Fonseca (from the penalty spot) and Mattioli find the net, culminating in victory for the Nerazzurri. As a result of the victory, Armando Madonna's side are now top of the Primavera 1 TIM league as they await Sampdoria's result today.

After a measured start between the two teams, Sassuolo opened the scoring with a goal in the ninth minute from Mattioli. The Neroverdi number 9 received a long ball from Paz and put it past Stankovic with a great right-footed strike. The goal woke up Madonna's side, who re-grouped as they searched for an equaliser. Inter levelled matters in the 19th minute, with Sottini heading in a corner from the left. The following minutes were dominated by the Nerazzurri, who completed their comeback in the 34th minute as Satrione converted Zanotti's right-wing cross. After two minutes of injury time, a good first half came to an end with Madonna's side leading 2-1.

The second half began with a penalty for Inter following a foul from Manarelli on Satriano: Fonseca got the better of Zacchi from the spot to make it 3-1. Two minutes later, Sassuolo responded, with Mattioli doing really well to find the bottom corner with a header. There were two great chances in the final few minutes, one for each side: first, Oristanio hit the post; then, Manara also saw his effort come off the woodwork in the 94th minute. The final whistle came after these thrills: Inter won and are currently two points ahead of Sampdoria (who will play Spal today).
