Inter Women’s run ended in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia. After a 1-1 draw in the first leg, decided by goals from Polli and Clelland, the Nerazzurre took only three minutes to find the opener with Bugeja in the return leg, but were then beaten by Sassuolo. At the end of the second half, the Neroverdi equalised with De Rita, and in the second half of extra time, Milinkovic's own goal - forced by Clelland - led to a final 2-1 defeat.
