Gianmario Corti's young guns come from 2-0 down to win the first of three group matches, Pinamonti (2) and Merola with the goals

CESENA – Inter Under-17s began the championship Final Eight on the right foot as they mounted a valiant comeback from 2-0 down to beat Napoli 3-2 at Cesena's Stadio Manuzzi on Saturday.

Gianmario Corti's boys trailed 2-0 at the interval but Pinamonti reduced the arrears on the hour mark when he converted a penalty. Three minutes later the Nerazzurri No.9 made it 2-2 with his second of the game from Rover's cross.

Merola bagged the winner late on when he stabbed home through a crowded box, completing the turnaround.

The Nerazzurri play Palermo in their second group match on Sunday, at 18:00.
