Ireland’s Robbie Brady headed home an 85th-minute winner to condemn Italy to a 1-0 defeat in their final group game. Eder was an unused sub


MILAN – Antonio Conte’s Italy side were beaten 1-0 by the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday night after Robbie Brady headed home an 85th-minute winner.

Inter striker Eder was an unused substitute for the Nerazzurri.

Italy will take on Spain in the Round of 16 on Monday 27 June.
