MILAN – Stefano Pioli’s side beat Genoa 2-0 on Sunday evening, thanks to two goals from Marcelo Brozovic.

In partnership with Opta, we bring you some of the key facts and figures surrounding Inter’s sixteenth Serie A match of the season:

- In their last seven Serie A clashes, Inter and Genoa have picked up alternate wins.

- The Nerazzurri have won their last four Serie A home matches – for the first time since March – scoring 11 goals in the process, an average of 2.8 goals per game.

- Genoa have lost four of their last five Serie A away games, following a run in which they won three out of four.

- The Rossoblu have scored only three goals in their last seven league away matches, failing to find the back of the net in four of those.

- Inter scored with their first two shots on target in the match.

- Of all their games this season, only against Atalanta on matchday nine did Inter register fewer first-half shots on goal than they managed against Genoa.

- Marcelo Brozovic scored his first ever Serie A brace against the Rossoblu.

- The Croatian has scored three goals in his last three Serie A games, as many has he had managed in his previous 30 matches.

- Joao Mario laid on two assists in a single game for the first time in Serie A.

- During the victory over Genoa, the Portguese midfielder created six chances, completed six dribbles and won the ball 14 times – in all cases more than any other player on the pitch.
