Sassuolo v Inter stat pack

MILAN – Inter face Sassuolo in the early kick-off on Sunday morning at 12:30 CET in Week 17 of Serie A 2016/17. 

In collaboration with Opta, here are some facts and figures on the encounter. 

Inter have scored 17 goals against Sassuolo, more than any other club in Serie A, and have hit seven on two occasions. The Nerazzurri have had the most shots on goal of any club in the Italian top flight and have had the most moves ending in crosses in Europe's top five leagues. Also, Inter are the most prolific team in the league during the last 15 minutes of play. 

Ivan Perisic is on the verge of his 50th appearance for Inter in Serie A. Mauro Icardi has hit the back of the net four times against Sassuolo, including a hat-trick in September 2014. Both Antonio Candreva and Eder have bagged a brace against the Neroverdi, back when they were playing for Lazio and Sampdoria respectively. 

Marco Andreolli turned out for Sassuolo in Serie B during the 2008/09 season, while Stefano Pioli took charge of tomorrow's opponents in the 2009/10 campaign.
