REGGIO EMILIA -
Felipe Melo
spoke to the media in the mixed zone post-match: "It was an important game against a tough side, especially at home. Keeping a clean sheet is positive - job done."
The Brazilian also discussed his dismissal: "The first foul was a booking because it was tactical. I don't think the second one deserved a caution but I don't want to make a big deal out of it. I also got elbowed in the first period. I thank God for letting me work hard and win - I don't want to argue with the officials however. Let's talk about the win and our great performance. We dug in at times but created chances and deserved to score more."
On his side's next match, against Lazio: "We want to finish the year as best we can. We're looking to win every match and approach each game like a cup final. We fight for every ball and we have ability."
Finally a word on Gabigol's introduction late on: "I'm pleased for Gabriel, he's keen to do well and that's why he was booked."
