Kondogbia calls on team to keep run going

MILAN – Following Inter’s 3-0 win over Lazio last night, Geoffrey Kondogbia shared a few thoughts on how the Nerazzurri managed to earn the victory.  

"We’re all happy about the win,” the midfielder said. "To start with we needed some time to get into the right positions, as is normal. But after around 25 minutes we started playing our game. We had two or three good chances and then created a lot in the second period, finding the route to goal more easily."

Kondogbia said he was happy with his own display and called on his team to keep their run going.

"I’m happy about my performance but above all I’m pleased that the team picked up three points. We need to keep going in this direction, even after the break.

"We’ve all helped each other. That’s key because in football nowadays, without the right team spirit you don’t get results. We saw our hard work pay off out there on the pitch."
