Inter Campus’ 2016 in images

MILAN – New Year’s Eve is upon us once again, which gives us the perfect chance to journey back through the last 12 months of the Inter Campus initiative.

The year has seen 60 missions around the world, with over 200 coaches trained and thousands of boys and girls taking part in the programme.

On top of Inter Campus’ day-to-day work in promoting the development of youngsters through sport and education, training local instructors and spreading positive sporting values, the project has seen a number of stand-out moments.

We think back to the opening of new centres in Camocim (Brazil) and Sacaba (Bolivia), the memorable day we spent with the inmates of Bafoussam prison in Cameroon, the clean-up project dedicating to youngsters living around the landfill site in the Paraguayan capital Asuncion and the training session with Javier Zanetti in Buenos Aires.

Other highlights included the relaunch of Inter Campus in Iran, the friendly tournament between parents and children from both Israel and Palestine in Be’er Sheva and – last but certainly not least – our return to the United Nations alongside representatives from the club itself for a meeting with Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
