"We're enjoying a good spell of form and we want to keep it going. We're focused on Pescara"

APPIANO GENTILE – Marco Andreolli says three points against Pescara is the only option for Inter if they want to keep chasing third place.

The Nerazzurri face a big week ahead with a Coppa Italia quarter-final against Lazio on Tuesday before a trip to Juventus Stadium next weekend but the defender insists the team are thinking about nothing but tomorrow's opponents.

"We're focused on Pescara at the moment. We're enjoying a good spell of form and we want to keep it going,” he said, speaking to Mediaset Premium and Inter Channel.

“If we want to try and chase down third place, we can't afford to let up because the sides ahead of us aren't slowing down.

“When you're playing catch-up you have to do better than the others and concentrate on one game at a time. Tomorrow is the most important match for us at the moment.

"All teams can cause problems for you, so you have to be completely switched on at all times. We've prepared well for Pescara this week.”

Andreolli also commented on his recovery following a lengthy injury lay-off and whether he might start the game at the Meazza on Saturday night.

“I'm recovering well but being out on the pitch is different to the work we do in training.

“As for whether I play, that's up to the boss. We're all here for him, ready to do our bit when called upon.

“I'm sure whichever 11 players he picks tomorrow will give 100% – all 14 of us actually, because the players who come on can help us win as well. The rest of the squad do their bit even when they're not playing because they offer support and get involved in the day-to-day work.”
