The winner of two league titles, a European Cup and two Intercontinental Cup crowns, the former Spanish midfielder turns 81 today

MILAN - He may have spent just two seasons with the Nerazzurri but what a trophy-laden 24 months they were. Joaquin Peiro made 47 appearances and scored 16 goals in all competitions for Inter between 1964 and 1966, playing his part in two Scudetti, a European Cup and two Intercontinental Cups.

Today he celebrates his 81st birthday: on behalf of Inter Forever and the club, we wish him many happy returns!
