MILAN – As the Nerazzurri prepare to host Empoli at San Siro for their 24th league match of the season on Sunday, we've got together with Opta to offer you a selection of statistical tidbits.

- Inter have won 17 of the 23 previous meetings between these two sides and are unbeaten in the last nine. The Nerazzurri have also won ten of the last 11 games against Empoli at San Siro.

- Stefano Pioli's side are on a seven-match winning run at home – their best since 2011.

- Inter have put in more crosses from open play in 2016/17 than any other side in the top five European leagues and also boast the best attack in the final 15 minutes.

- Four Nerazzurri have featured in every Serie A match this term: Antonio Candreva, Samir Handanovic, Joao Miranda and Mauro Icardi.

- Icardi and Ivan Perisic, who will both miss Sunday's game through suspension, have produced 42% of Inter's efforts on goal between them in the current campaign.

- Miranda is the outfield player who has won the ball most times in Serie A in 2016/17.

- Eder will be facing off against his former employers at the Meazza. The Brazil-born Italy striker scored 27 goals in 45 Serie A and Serie B appearances for Empoli earlier in his career. The 30-year-old has also scored in two of his last three games for Inter.

- Nerazzurri academy product Federico Dimarco is currently on loan at Empoli. His only Serie A appearance for Inter to date in fact came against Empoli in May 2015.
