The Italy striker's goal this afternoon set Inter on their way to victory: "We're all doing our best and we have to continue like this"

MILAN – With the opening goal and an assist, Eder was the key figure in today's 2-0 over Empoli at San Siro.

"Empoli do a lot of running and we were forced to as well when we didn't have the ball," the Italy striker explained to Inter Channel. "These are three important points to continue climbing back up the league. The goal aside, the important thing is that we won.

"As a squad, we work well; I don't like speaking about absentees. We're all doing our best and we have to continue like this. My assist for Candreva was the only way I could get the ball behind their defence.

"We had the right attitude against Juventus as well," Eder concluded, "but the little details matter in football. We've played well in both matches and we won today with concentration and hard work."
