The Brazilian forward spoke with Inter Channel today: "I'm settling in well and I want to give everything for the team. Thank you to the fans"

APPIANO GENTILE – Gabriel Barbosa found time after training today to update Inter Channel on how things are going in his debut season at the club.

"I'm pleased I came on against Empoli on Sunday," he began. "We played well and we're delighted we got the three points. I'm continuing to train and I'm already thinking about the next game, which is always the most important one."

The young Brazilian also spoke about how he is adapting to his new environment: "I'm getting better and better. I feel stronger, faster and more Italian! The understanding between the coach, my team-mates and myself is continuing to grow. I'm building up the minutes and I'm always trying to train in the right fashion."

Barbosa was also asked about Milan and in particular the weather!

"It's a bit too cold!" he laughed. "But I'm very happy here. Everyone is helping me, giving me advice and the fact I'm playing with superstars who previously I'd only see in video games is amazing. I'm ecstatic about wearing the Inter shirt."

Finally, Gabigol is keeping calm about scoring his first goal for the Nerazzurri and believes it will come when the time is right.

"My first goal? It will happen when God wills it so. I'm just trying to work and help the team. I want to thank the fans for everything they're doing for me."
