Ausilio: "We back Pioli all the way"

MILAN – Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio was interviewed by Mediaset Premium before Inter v Roma.

Asked about the attacking line-up chosen by Stefano Pioli, Ausilio explained: “The coach spends all week working with the players and picks the team based on what he sees. We trust his decisions and we back him all the way.”

Ausilio also commented on the visit of Suning chairman Jindong Zhang to Milan and Madrid this week.

“The owners know how to make their presence felt. Of course people are thinking about future transfers but there's plenty of time and we'll assess the best options open to us. The meeting in Madrid was an opportunity for two great clubs to get to know each other better.”
