Gagliardini: "We proved we can compete"

- Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini spoke in the mixed zone after Inter's narrow defeat at Juventus: "It's a loss but we proved we can compete. We didn't see a huge gulf in class like people were saying. There are incidents which need to be looked at again but we've realised that we can compete with everyone.

"Our aim is to finish in the top three and we can achieve that. I'm enjoying my time here at Inter. I had two or three chances but we just lacked a goal tonight. We're disappointed and slightly rueful.

"I can earn a national team call-up by playing well for Inter and Ventura will pick his squad."
