Giuseppe Baresi turns 59 today: club captain and icon, he has won trophies both as a player and a coach across more than three decades at Inter
MILAN – Five hundred and fifty-nine appearances, two league titles, two Coppa Italias, an Italian Super Cup and a UEFA Cup over a 16-year playing career at Inter – four of which as captain – make Beppe Baresi a Nerazzurri man through and through.
Add in another 15 years on the club's coaching staff, working both with the academy sides and the first team – serving as Jose Mourinho's number two in the treble-winning season – and you have a veritable Inter legend.
