"Third spot will be our aim until the end of the season. Delighted my team-mates got in on the goals." The skipper has had his say on today's win

CAGLIARI – After finding the net away from home again, Mauro Icardi came in front of the cameras to give his analysis of Cagliari v Inter this afternoon.

"When you fall down, you have to get up again and that's what we've done," the Inter captain began. "Third spot is six points in front of us and we still have a lot of games to play. This will be our aim until the end of the season.

"I'm pleased with the work I'm doing, not only for the goals and the fact I'm topscorer, but also what I'm doing for the team. It's important that everyone looks to provide assists for their team-mates. It's a shame I hit the crossbar, but I'm delighted my team-mates were in and among the goals today."
