The Nerazzurri social project returns to the UN’s European headquarters to celebrate gender equality

GENEVA – Inter Campus is back at the UN’s European headquarters today to contribute to the debate around sport and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). And on International Women’s Day, it is inevitable that the subject will turn to gender equality in the workplace, at home and throughout our society.

In addition to a packed schedule of debates and meetings, Inter Campus will run a practical training session to demonstrate how football – and sport in general – can drive integration.

In many countries still blighted by gender-based discrimination, encouraging boys and girls to play together is an important achievement and sends a vital, positive message, as well as boosting technical ability and teamwork.

All of the girls involved in the Inter Campus project are determined, full of energy and focused on enjoying their lives. On International Women’s Day, we salute them and all their female coaches!
