Barbosa: "It’s a pleasure to meet the fans"

MILAN – Gabriel Barbosa joined Joao Mario at Inter Store Milano on Thursday afternoon to celebrate the club’s 109th birthday with the Nerazzurri faithful.

"This is a special day for us and the fans so I’m really happy," the Brazilian told Inter Channel during the event. "I’m delighted to be at such a big club. Happy birthday everyone! All of the players are happy to play for this great club."

Barbosa stressed that the squad’s focus was firmly on Sunday’s clash with Atalanta.

"We’re working hard, we’re Inter and we’re playing at home, so we need to win the match," he insisted. "Cagliari was a great result and that’s what we work for, but now we need to concentrate on Atalanta. We’re preparing well."
