APPIANO GENTILE – Jindong Zhang was at Suning Training Centre in memory of Angelo Moratti on Sunday morning to meet the team and reiterate his full support in Stefano Pioli and the coaching staff.

"We don't get distracted by rumours outside the club. There's no truth in them whatsoever because the club is 100% behind our coach," the Suning chairman explained.

Having met with Inter's management team, Zhang Jindong confirmed that "our long-term strategy is to build a solid club with a world-class set-up and ensure the club goes from strength to strength."

He added: "Being a part of Inter means working and fighting to win every game. Our medium- to long-term target is to keep growing the club and improving our players."
