Pioli: "We’re all motivated"

APPIANO GENTILE – Stefano Pioli has insisted that everyone at Inter is fully motivated to beat Napoli and finish the season on a high.

"We’re all responsible for this tough spell and we’re all motivated to change the situation in the remaining five games," Pioli told Mediaset Premium ahead of Sunday’s game. "The owners are fully behind us. We’re all trying to support each other and take the team back to where it belongs.

"The better the team you’re playing, the bigger the opportunity to prove how good you are. We’ve conceded too many goals in our recent games so we need to be more compact at the back, more alert and more focused on keeping our shape."

Pioli was also asked about the benefit of keeping the team together at the training ground ahead of the visit of Napoli.

"We’ll see that on the pitch. This is a great chance to show what we’re all about," said the coach.
