The ex-Nerazzurri defender is taking the role of assistant coach at Lugano


MILAN – Walter Samuel has taken a new coaching role at FC Lugano in the Swiss Super League. The former Inter defender will be assistant coach.

During his time at Inter, which stretched from 2005 to 2014, the Argentinian won 5 league titles, 3 Coppa Italias, and 4 Italian Super Cups, as well as the Champions League and World Club Championship.

He was part of the coaching set up last season at Inter and everyone at the club wishes him all the best for this new adventure!
