The Nerazzurri defender started and finished Australia's second Confederations Cup Group B encounter, which leaves them needing to beat Chile on Sunday to go through

SAINT PETERSBURG - Trent Sainsbury played the full 90 minutes for Australia in their 1-1 draw with Cameroon in Matchday 2 of the Confederations Cup.

In front of a 35,000 crowd at Krestovsky Stadium, the African side took the lead in first-half injury time through Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa before Mark Milligan levelled matters from the spot on the hour mark.

The result leaves both Australia and Cameroon needing to win their last Group B game on Sunday, against Chile and Germany respectively, to stand any chance of reaching the semi-finals.
