Eder scores in Italy win

Antonio Candreva was in the starting line-up, while the Brazil-born striker came on at half-time during the match against Uruguay in Nice


NICE – Giampiero Ventura’s Italy strolled to a comfortable 3-0 win over Uruguay at the Allianz Riviera in Nice last night.

Antonio Candreva was named in the starting line-up and lasted until the 58th minute, while Eder Citadin Martins came on in place of Andrea Belotti for the second half and scored the goal for 2-0 in the 83rd minute.

Danilo D’Ambrosio remained on the substitutes’ bench.
